Happy Sunday dear readers!
In today's post we are going to fill out the Dot Card of my favorite watercolor brand, Schmincke.
First, I want to apologize for the quality of the video, until now I have been recording with my Huawei P20 Pro mobile, but in a few months so far the image quality has worsened a lot 😢. I've been looking for a solution for days and I think I've already found it 🎉, I'll tell you in future posts.

Ok, now let's get down to business.
If you haven't tried this experience yet, I recommend it 100%. It is wonderful to see how each color behaves on paper, and it is also a great help when adding new colors to our collection.
I bought this Dot Card in Artemiranda (like practically all my new materials 🙃). Here is the link if you want to take a look.

The truth is that I don't really like yellows (they all look the same to me), but I loved this color.
I will surely include it in my palette as soon as I get it.

Another great find. Unfortunately, in the photo, you don't get to appreciate how pretty this color really is.

Very pretty. It's not orange, not red, not pink. I would describe it as the midpoint between these three colors.

In my palette I have magenta, but this shade is also very pretty.

Blues and turquoises are my favorite colors, I have quite a few in my collection.
I don't have this one in particular and I love it!

Another of my favorites along with cobalt turquoise.

It is definitely my favorite green from this brand.

For a few years I have been following Claudia Llobera, a watercolor landscape artist. She has this color in her palette (although hers is from Daniel Smith).
Here is the link to her Youtube channel.

Semi-transparent reddish earth colour. Very pretty.

This one just surprised me.
In my palette I have the English Venetian red, very nice and very opaque.
If I compare the colors, I like this one, but if I have to choose between one of them, I prefer the Venetian English red. It's opacity is a quality that I value a lot in this color.

This color has become very famous among the artists I follow.
Now I know why 😍.

Very similar to Payne's gray but with a reddish touch.

Among the colors that have disappointed me, this is the winner.
Whenever I placed an order at Artemiranda, I put it in the cart. Then I ended up removing it because of its high price (much higher than the rest of the colors, and that they are not already cheap as standard).
I really wanted to see it live, to see how it behaved in the water.
What was my surprise when I saw that it had practically no color! It is as if you take a point of green pigment and mix it with a liter of water…. Horrible…A big disappointment.
There are many other very nice colors, below in the video you can see how the colors behave before they dry (I apologize again for the terrible quality 🙏).
See you next sunday!
