Paint with Me
Happy Friday dear readers!
We have finally reached the last post of the series!
In case you don't know what I'm talking about, these last few weeks I have shown you what my creative process is like, from the creation of the color palette to the final watercolor illustration (That's where we are now).
I leave you the links to the previous posts in case you haven't seen them yet.
In this video I show you how I apply the color palette to an illustration that I created expressly for these posts.
You can also use colored pencils, crayons, markers, ... anything goes! . In my case, apart from watercolors, I have used:
- Mechanical pencil with HB lead.
- Pen Lamy Safari loaded with permanent ink. As I tell you in the video, DO NOT USE THIS TYPE OF INK WITH A GOOD PEN!! It gets stuck and you can easily destroy it.
- Marker POSCA white.
- Lápices de colores acuarelables FABER-CASTELL, Albert Dürer:
- Light ultramarine 140
- Deep scarlet red 219
- Cadmium orange 111
- CARAN D’ACHE Luminance Colored Pencils:
- Cobalt green 182
- Oive yellow 015

Although the process is quite laborious, the result is worth it 🤩
You will soon have this illustration available in sticker form in my ETSY store.
And remember that you can tag me on Instagram as @martagarcia_ilustracion so I can see your creations and share them.
Bye!!
