DISCOVERY OF SUMMER. HEALTHY RED FRUIT ICE CREAM
Happy Friday dear readers!
I know that today's post is a little late, but believe me when I tell you that you still have time to try this wonderful and very easy recipe.
Since I discovered it, it has become my star breakfast 🤩. And, although I don't prepare it every day (that's why experts say you have to vary your diet), it has become my favorite breakfast.
I'll tell you a little about how I discovered it.
A few weeks ago I told you on my Instagram account (@martagarcia_ilustracion), that on one of my walks through La Casa del Libro, I had gotten a copy of the famous "Glucose Revolution Method" by Jessie Inchauspé (this book is enough to make an exclusive post for him 😅). This book includes a lot of recipes and one of them is this magnificent healthy ice cream, although, as it could not be otherwise, I like to give it my own personal touch 😎.

INGREDIENTS
- 4 Tablespoons of your favorite yogurt. Although Jessie uses Greek yogurt in the book, I like to mix 3 tablespoons of coconut yogurt with 1 tablespoon of goat yogurt.
- 1 tablespoon of nut cream. I have tried peanut butter and homemade almond cream (from my father's almond trees 🌳). If I have to choose one, I think I prefer the almond one, because it is made with local almonds, without pesticides, or anything at all. (But with peanuts it is also delicious!!)
- 50 grams of frozen red fruits. One suggestion is to take advantage of when strawberries, blueberries, etc. are in season and freeze them for when we feel like ice cream. It's a way to save money 😉.

DIRECTIONS
- Pour the 4 tablespoons of yogurt into a bowl/cup.
- Add the tablespoon of nut cream and mix everything well.
- Add the 50 grams of frozen red fruits and mix it.
- Wait 3 minutes. At this time the red fruits begin to release all the cold and begin to freeze the yogurt that surrounds them 🤤.
- ¡Bon apetit!

Until here today's post. I hope you liked it and that you enjoy this recipe as much as I do 🙂
Until next week!
